Healthcare Providers:

AiMH has three board certified psychiatrists and three licensed clinical social workers. The psychiatrists are available to provide medication consultation, therapy, and hospitalization if deemed appropriate. Our social workers are qualified to provide therapeutic services and can make referrals to the psychiatrists if a medication evaluation is recommended.

Facility:

We are located in the Methodist Atrium building at 900 Main Street in Peoria, Illinois. You can use the link below for specific instructions to our office. Our facility is handicap and wheelchair accessible to accommodate individuals with disabilities. We offer 24-hour coverage through our answering service staff.

Appointments:

We see patients by appointment only. If you are interested in scheduling an appointment with one of our providers you may do so by calling our office at (309) 637-4266 during our regular business hours of 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. Appointments are scheduled for Monday through Friday with some early morning and evening appointments also available. One of our social workers has limited availability for Saturday morning appointments also. We do ask that you give at least a 24 hour notice if you must cancel an appointment. There could be a missed appointment charge applied for short notice cancellation.

Insurance:

Associates in Mental Health participates in a wide variety of managed care networks serving the Peoria area to include: Medicare, Caterpillar, United Behavioral Health, United Healthcare, Value Options, First Choice, Health Alliance, Blue Cross/Blue Shield, Corphealth, HealthPlus, Humana, and OSF Healthplans as well as others. Please call for more information. We do offer both primary and secondary insurance billing.

It is recommended that you contact your insurance company prior to your first appointment to make sure the provider you are scheduled to see is in your managed care network and to ensure that pre-certification is completed if required by your insurance provider.

Payments:

Payments are expected at the time of service. Our office does accept cash, check, debit or credit cards.
